      <title>Porting out of PM - how long does it take to receive the confirmation SMS/Email from PM?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I set up a new plan with Phone Box and requested a port out to keep my number.&amp;nbsp; PB set-up a new number for me and will port my number once I authorize Public Mobile but I have not received an email/SMS for this yet.&amp;nbsp; How long does it take?&amp;nbsp; Reading other conversations suggests this is a quick (within an hour) process usually.&amp;nbsp; Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes - I thought this process would be automatic but I contacted PB who had to do something to initiate the transfer.&amp;nbsp; Received the sms very quickly once they did it so all good now.&amp;nbsp; Next question is if PM will automatically close my account since the number is ported out?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
