I know the sim card works, it works on my iPhone 5. On my iPhone 6 though, it doesn't let me move past the activation screen. It shows a signal at the top left corner. It still says that SIM Not Supported. How can I fix this?

If you are not sure if your iPhone is unlocked, you can put another carrier's SIM card (other than the one it's from) and check if you still get the service.

If you don't have access to another carrier sim, you can always drop by a telus or Koodo store and ask them to check with their SIM card to see if it works with their SIM cards. If it does, it should work with PM as well.

My phone is locked to Koodo and it works, if yours isn’t locked to bell or Telus it could be locked to Rogers, Fido, or Koodo, but Koodo would work. Virgin mobile phones are also locked to bell, so it’s looking like you might have a Rogers locked phone. Good news though is that I’m pretty sure Rogers is the cheapest ($50 compared to bell $70) to unlock iPhones and it’s guaranteed to work as long as the phone isn’t reported stolen (unlike some of those online unlocking sites which it can be hard to tell if it is a scam)

iPhone unlocks for Rogers are being done via eBay for $17 to $20. It may take a day or two to get it unlocked but it's cheaper than going through Rogers. If you are not a Rogers customer, eBay may be the only available method.

I just ordered an unlock for a Rogers iPhone 6s for $17. Hopefully, it won't take too long as I want to use it with my pm plan.
