If your phone number and area code are from an Atlantic province you should be eligible for the 2 GB bonus. Sign into your self-serve account using secret / incognito mode. Go to the plans and add-ons page. Scroll down to the bottom. Enter the promo code 2GBFiona. If you are eligible it will give you a green check mark and add the 2 GB Fiona data bonus to your account.

I got the same text and the link takes you to a down eventbrite website and I can't get any answers from customer service.

Did you just get the text? If you got an official pm text it would have been from about two weeks ago. That may be a phishing text.
