Hey, I've just signed up and got a promo for 2gb/month for 12 months. Just wondering if that means that for 12 months i get an extra 2gb, or if each month I go over my data, it uses up one of the months I have from the promo. Like if I never go over my data on my plan for the next 12 months, will I still have 12 months worth of an extra 2gb?

@Jboeringa , I don't believe that data promo is for non expiring data.

@Jboeringa hi after you use your plan data for the month then you will use your 2gb extra until next cycle starts if you don't use it you lose it,in otherwords it doesn't accumulate

Look at it as an overflow bucket. If your plan data runs out then you will use that data. Then when you renew, both will reset and that month counter will increment.

@Jboeringa the extra 2GB you are getting will be there for each cycle on top of your regular data. Please note that it won't be carry forward to another cycle if not fully used. So, use them on that cycle or you will loss them

Just like plan data: use it or lose it.
Same as the speed you can run: walking when young does not mean you can run when old. 🤣

That's an interesting way of interpreting the bonus data promotion. But no each 2gb plan data bonus will be ticked off the counter as you renew a new 30 day plan going from 1/12 to 12/12 before dropping off your account. However in my experience when suspending a plan with a promotional counter via lost/stolen before midnight eastern on or before day 30 of your 30 day cycle....it also suspends the counter.
