My account shows "Outgoing SMS" about five or six times with one minute intervals almost everyday. I have not sent or received any SMS last one week. I am not bothered by this because my plan includes unlimited text messages but just curious to know what these messages about SMS are.

It could be the device trying to connect to a visual voicemail service which this place doesn't offer.

Is it a 5 digit shortcode? Starting with 4?

Do you turn your phone off at night? Some smartphones send a message to Google or Apple when turned on.

Are these only showing in your usage details in My Account, and not actually on your device as sent SMS @Ilareema ?

Yes, they are showing up only in My Account.
