Hi, I am having problems activating my new SIM card. First, I tried to port my land line number and it did not work (Videotron). Then, I read on the forum that it is easier to chose a new phone number and then transfer my current phone number. It didn't work either. Could anyone help me please?

Thanks 🙂

Juan

It still does not work while in Incognito mode. Here is the error message I get. It happens right after I choose my plan.

Generic Error

Oh no!
It looks like something went wrong, but don’t panic.

Log out and then log back in again to continue.

Hi Juanr1912,

I believe porting landline to wireless might take a couple days.

I suggest you PM a @CS_Agent to find out the status of your activation before attempting to activate again.

Hope this helps.

I suspect your account has been partially activated and is awaiting the port-in of your landline, which will continue to work until the port-in finishes. DO NOT cancel your landline contract; that happens once the trasfer has finished.

Can you call out with your PM SIM installed? If not, what message is displayed on your phone after rebootimng with the sIM installed?

Can you still use your landline?
