I used my 3 GB of data very quickly and realized that most of my data was used to upload my phone data onto my iCloud. I turned the automatic backups to iCloud off but is there a way to add more data for the rest of the month without charge?

I had no idea that iCloud did that until I checked my data usage.

Your options are to ask for an early renewal or change immediately to a different plan or buy data add-ons. This was not the fault of the company.

Also turn off any refreshing over data.

And only turn on what apps you want to be able to be used with data.

Let updates work from wifi.

No, there is no way to get more data without paying somewhere to access more data.

Or, you wait until your renewal without any data (use wifi as much as possible if needed), and data will replenish on your renewal.
