topic number transfer in Get Support

i wish to keep my current number, but when i go to transfer it over the computer is telling me it is not a valid canadidan phone number. which is strange because i got my number with telus while i was living in kamloops.

@greghaftner is the number currently active with the previous provider?

Check to see if your number can be ported from this Koodo website (Telus owns Koodo and Public Mobile), so, same allowances here:

Are you a current customer trying to transfer over, or are you trying to port during activation?
