I have the $15 plan and was wondering if I can text to the United states on that plan without extra cost? Also what about if someone from the US texts me is there an extra charge?

your plan includes Unlimited international texting , which mean you can text FROM Canada to any other countries for free

@carlynn You can text to anyone globally (not just US) and receive from anywhere without any other charges. For MMS, you'll need your data enabled which doesn't take from your available plan data.

prepaid service not have any extra cost.

to getting from that app a new canadia number also you Call & SMS & MMS for free but you need Wi-Fi to use it.

@carlynn The plan mentions Unlimited International Text. If text was Canada-only, it would probably say National. 😁
