I got this phone and plan for my son and didn’t realize it comes with data. Can it be blocked on my account.

just change APN setting.to be off.

Edit: And here there are no extra fees why you worry, after the limit data end is will be off until next cycle.

There is no option to block here. You could edit the APN to only allow MMS through but that would stop apps from using the internet let alone the browser. The kid would figure that out eventually too 🙂 And they could still use wifi anywhere.

I assume you purchased either the $15 plan or the $25 plan. Data is minimal on these plans. On the first day after renewal could you play a HD YouTube video to burn through the data quickly?

You can disable the cellular data in your phone settings.

What type of phone does your son have so we can help you with the settings.

You can leave it on and let it burn up.
You can set up a hot spot and you burn it up.,,just make sure your data is off and you log onto his hotspot. Some speed tests might deplete it quickly.
