This problem just started recently for me where I cannot send or reveive anytype of MMS. When I try sending a picture or video the message just gets stuck on "sending" and eventually it will fail, and ask to retry. Its really frustrating because im forced to use third party apps in order to send media files to friends.

Yes, I always make sure that im not on wifi when im trying to send MMS. I've messed around with the APN type based on other forum posts, but nothing has worked.

APN: sp.mb.com

Proxy: Not Set

Port: Not Set

Username: Not Set

Password: Not set

MMSC: http://aliasdirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc

MMS proxy: 74.49.0.18

MMS port: 80

MCC: 302

MNC: 220

Authentication type: None

APN type: Not set

APN protocol:IPv4

APN roaming protocol: IPv4

I would really apperciate any help, thanks!

For some phones, when it comes to MSS it helps if you add in the "APN Type" section , which is blank under the APN settings, go back to this line and enter "default, mms, supl" and save changes. Reboot and test. This usually solves MMS problems.

If not, then try a third party sms app such as Android Messages by google.

Let us know if that works for you.

Cheers

I've already tried doing the "default, mms, supl" multiple times and it made no difference.

Assuming that you have a good connection, the only other recommendation I have is to do a network settings reset in order to get everything back to default on your device.

What phone are you using? I can look to see if there's a method for this with your make/model or you can try some searches online yourself in order to reset these settings. Usually these MMS issues are solved with the APN settings being corrected/amended in that field. I'm assuming that when you changed your APN settings initially, you then rebooted your phone?!

*** I’m glad to help but I’m not a MOD, so please don’t message me with any personal information. ***

I would try to do a back up and then do a factory reset and it tends to fix stuff like data , SMS, and MMS issues.

I had a similar problem when I switched to Public Mobile last week and just found a solution last night. The solution for me was actually in the application settings of my Textra app. I had to change the 'MMS Behavior' property from 'Legacy' to 'System'. Maybe you have a similar setting in your app?
