Your $5 in credits per 30 days will be converted to 5 points, so no, you don't lose them. However, I recommend against switching to points. In almost all cases, the points system is worse for existing customers who are currently on the old rewards system.

@MamaLu no you won't but you will lose other things like 2 dollar auto pay your yearly loyalty rewards will be gone, you will lose a lot more then you gain in the long run not a great choice

And the points don't reduce your renewal cost. You will pay full fare (if a zero balance) and earn points to convert later. The points system sorta works with plans costing $40 or more. It's also a little better for some add-ons. But overall it's worse.

Don't change to points.

No you won’t lose your Rewards but it is only worth it if you are on $40+ plan. If your plan is $15-$35 plan…not worth switching.
