I've done this numerous times. Still not sure why public isn't giving me good service. Calls still have issues when talking on the phone

Huawei p20 pro. But also tried a Samsung galaxy 10. So had the same issue

Here how to select 3G network

Switch to 3G - Samsung Galaxy S10

Switch to 3G - Huawei P20 Pro

and do rebooting device.
