Voicemail- No Visual Notifications

Does anyone know what I need to do to get some kind of visual notification/ flag when I have a Voice Mail Message? Currently, in order to know if I have a voice message, I need to actually check my voicemail if there are any new messages. This is quite annoying because I have missed some urgent messages because I checked too late.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Go to your phone settings and enable notifications in banner and badge.

What phone do you have so we can help you with the settings?

VMail notification icon should be On by default. I was not able to find setting to turn it on/off on Android.

@Marinela It is likely a phone settings. You might have accidentally blocked the notification for your phone or messaging app

what kind of phone is that?

I have an Android LG G7. Notifications are enabled. I get badges for other apps.

try to clear cache for your Phone App as well as your Text messaging app

Then reboot your phone

@Marinela - maybe you tried this already...but try - Turn on visual voicemail :

Open the Phone app .
At the top right, tap More options .
Tap Settings. Voicemail.
Turn on Visual voicemail.

OR -Activate Basic Visual Voicemail - LG

From the Home screen, navigate: Apps icon. Voicemail. . ...
From the Welcome screen, tap. Continue. .
To continue, review the Terms and Conditions and then tap. Accept. .
From the 'Enhance your experience with Premium Visual Voicemail' screen, select 'Subscribe to Premium' or 'No, Thanks'.
