      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone please tell me if we change the card from credit to debit card for or pre authorized debit. Does it impact our rewards as in there is a reward of reauthorized debit , will that wont work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;has anyone tried that&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;HI&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/84192"&gt;@dh301823&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To answer your question , it won't impact your $2 Autopay /Pre-authorized payments discount&amp;nbsp; (Please note only if you are on the old reward system there is such $2 discount.&amp;nbsp; If you are on the new system, you get 5% reward point back regardless if Pre-Authorized payments are setup)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HOWEVER, some people have trouble changing to Visa debit.&amp;nbsp; It really depends on the card.&amp;nbsp; (And it could be even tricker if it is a Mastercard Debit) .&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You can try .&amp;nbsp; The good thing with the system now is that you can just try to change the card&amp;nbsp; without deleting the card first.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, if the change is not successfully, your old card will still be there and you don't have to try adding the old one back&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try it first and see how it goes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it fails the first time, try the second time with Incognito mode or a different browser.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it fails a second time, do not try again for 24 hours as it could triggered a fraud lock&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;As long as you have registered valid, acceptable card with PM, your rewards will stay intact.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PM accepts Can/US credit cards and Visa Debit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is no pre-authorized payments with PM. Even though payments are 'automatically' taken from your CC if you are on autopay they are not considered pre-authorized payments by CC companies thus you will not get any extra rewards (if CC offers that) for paying PM bill.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
