Why am I not being able to add funds to my account? It’s telling me I can not add less than amount of my plan even though I have rewards and refer a friend discounts that lower my amount due. I do not like these new changes

HI @jillea There should be a radio box for "Custom Amount" and then you can enter the amount you want to pay

If still have problem, post a screenshot

I have sufficient balance to pay the plan and the account is active.

My payment isn’t due yet but I always add the funds early with rewards the amount due is 17 so minus the refer a friend it brings it to 12

if you do not mind, you can try to add the $20 in the account and see if it works. Again, the extra fund would stay in the account for next renewal.

WHAT?!! There is a minimum $20 payment?!! It used to be $1?!! This is just getting ridiculous!!

I think you can still get $5 vouchers at RCSS and $10 vouchers at london drugs.

HI @darlicious I have a feeling the $20 minimum is more for the plan as the amount due is also $20.

yeah thats about right, it wont let me fill in a smaller amount. I have 2 cards, which totals the right amount but it wont take them, it will only take the 48 minimum

I don’t have a vehicle so it makes it difficult to get a voucher when prior to the changes they made it let me add funds prior to my due date and didn’t have to add what the amount due is

So with my rewards it brings my total to 17 and than when you minus 5 dollars for refer a friend it brings it to 12 dollars my plan is 25 and is active due on 19th

Yes I tried unsuccessfully to make any kind of payment less than the plan amount and I couldn't find a way.

This also means you cannot reactivate your plan or attempt to reprovision your sim by adding a $1 manual payment.

I agree....remember when they used to ask for volunteers to beta test? It seems only oracles beta test "improvements" to public mobile now and even their feedback is mostly ignored.

But they should allow less than $1, the new plan has $41.25, someone might need it LoL

@hTideGnow- Apparently not. I haven't tried adding money. I run a balance. I haven't done the $1 trick for a long time.

Yeah that quarter is an odd duck. Marketing...hey I know...we can scrape an extra buck out of 4 clients to add to our billions of profits. Let's do it!

$41.25 is the federal government's mandated price for a 2gb plan when it asked that mobile provider's reduce the cost of medium basket plans by 25% within two years back in 2020. $55 - $13.75=$41.25.
