Will my data work abroad (not Canada or U.S.)? If not, is there an add-on I can buy to get internet while traveling internationally?

@channahfq NO, there is no roaming other than US

you will have to buy local data prepaid sim there

No PM add-on will work away from Canada (or US without add-on).

If you'll have access to free wifi...consider free voip app like TextNow.

NO. PM has service in North America only. No add-ons for service outside of this island.

@channahfq You should be able to get inexpensive data plans where you are traveling. You can also try to get by with WIFI apps like Skype, Whatsapp or Textnow although that isn't always feasible without access to WIFI connection.

If you are travelling long term…month or more. It will be cheaper for you to pickup a local SIM.

Short term then a wifi phone/text app would be the way to go as indicated by others.
