I already have this plan for usa roaming. Can I use the 10gb of data in the usa without buying another add on? Will it work straight away or do i need to do something to activate it in the usa?

$50 for unlimited Canada-wide/U.S. minutes + 10GB data

Details

Plan Details:

Save $2 and get a 500MB data bonus each month on AutoPay

30-day plan

10GB of data at 3G speed4

Unlimited Canada-wide and U.S. minutes7

Unlimited International Text and Picture Messaging3

Voicemail and Call Display5

Many people confuse the US minutes or international texting as meaning they can use the service elsewhere. You can't. There used to be a plan that had roaming but it was short-lived and well sought after.

So for all other plans, you need the roaming add-ons to use the service in the states. And only the states.

A lot of people have had issues with the US roaming recently, most reliable and cost effective method would be a local prepaid sim options and/or voip app
