Online number - scam

Hi,

My public mobile number is being used online for scam calls. How can i stop this?

It's call Caller ID spoofing

Scammer use system to randomly generate phone numbers and fool the receiving ends that a valid number called. (cos most people will not pickup number from overseas or 1-800 number, so they try to make it like a local number0 The target to this practice is not you. So, no worry. Yes, it is a scam, CRTC and the carriers are doing something to stop it but it likely not something they cannot be fully stop

Again, no worry for you, iit is like lettermail. People can send letter mail and put anyone's address as the return address. There is no rule to stop that but it is not harmful to the address they used

Are you seeing your phone number listed online but under a different name/company?
