They only need your account or IMEI, but I would recommend sticking with the account # bc it should be a smooth port, as IMEI sometimes causes headaches.

I want to transfer my Public Mobile number to Rogers.

But it requires me to provide the port out PIN number.

I don't know where to find the PIN. Can anyone help me with this? Much appreciated.

I don't find any customer service phone number on the website.

Are you sure you don't want to keep personal and work separate? Also if you've been here a while maybe you'd also want to keep the rewards.

I don't think a pin is required. Account # should be sufficient. Then keep this sim in the phone to confirm the transfer.

Depending on how long you were PM member, consider losing loyalty and other rewards.

No pin is need for porting out; only account and personal details (name, etc.).

@dust2dust wrote:

Are you sure you don't want to keep personal and work separate? Have you considered keeping 2 plans (personal and work). Maybe change your personal to the lowest plan ($15 one 100 outgoing minutes/250MB) and keep it for personal use.

It is great that your work is giving you a cell plan, but usually in these cases, these phones and plans belong to 'your company' and they may have the right to your usage on your plan/phone.

So, just ask certain questions before you get rid of your PM account, so you are comfortable with the choice.
