I live on Campobello Island. For the past week I can't make phone calls. System says I don't have us roaming. I don't need us roaming, I'm in Canada.

You will need to turn off automatic network selection and choose Public. Your phone is picking up US towers better than Public (Telus/Bell) towers.

@Carlnod66 - try turning off Roaming on your device.

Tap the Airplane mode switch to turn on or off. Turn on / off data roaming From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Appstray. Tap Settings>Connections > Mobile networks.

Tap the Data roaming switch to off.

If you ever travel to the USA, you will just need to turn this back on.
