Sim card not detected

Hello,

I've been given an iphone SE that has been unlocked. I reset it completely, changed the APN settings, and, on the first day, my sim card would alternatively be detected and not be detected. I'd power it down, and manage to get access to the network.

Recently, I can't get it to detect the sim card at all. I've tried the chatbot recs, no success there.

* Are iPhone SEs supported by the network? (when I try to verify compatibility, the drop down menu is empty)

* What can I do gain access to the network? Do I need another phone?

Have you tried removing and reinserting the SIM card?

Yeah, I did. Unfortunately it made no difference

iPhone SE are supported here

Try to put your PM SIM in another phone and confirm if it works there

Try to put another active SIM into this iPhone to confirm if any problem with your device

Thank you for the quick reply, I really appreciate it.

So it isn't blacklisted.
Husband's sim card works in the iPhone SE.
My PM sim card works in his phone.
My PM sim card doesn't work in the iPhone SE.

What could that be?

Seeing that you SIM works in your husband’s phone. It is most likely your phone is the issue.

You might check to see if the SIM tray isn’t bent. Sometimes this cause the phone not to read the SIM.

@Laurence5 - is your husband's SIM card also a Public Mobile one? If a different provider, maybe your iPhone SE is really locked to that provider.
