Mobile Phone Protection Service - Asurion?

Hello,

This is something new to me and I'm not sure how it would work, but has Public Mobile considered offering phone protection plans? I was just made aware of Asurion and they apparently seem to offer protection against loss, theft, damage and malfunction. My initial research seems to indicate that it's something the carrier would set up... but I could be wrong.

I'd like to know more about that and wonder if others might echo that?

Assurion's insurance plans are typically purchased at the time you purchase the phone. Since Public Mobile only offers the actual cell phone service and not devices, it wouldn't make sense for them to insure products they don't sell.
