voice messages not retrievable

People tell me they left voice messages on my phone. The "voice message waiting" sign keeps popping up in the top left corner of the screen. However, when I call to retrieve the messages (by either dialing my own number or by pressing and holding "1" and entering my voice mail password) it tells me "you have no messages". Anyone knows what could be going on? Thank you!

as a comment - I restarted the phone more than a dozen times. I have also reset the network settings.

problem solved by accessing voice message by dialing 613 581 4001

Good to hear. When you said you had the same problem when dialing your number instead of 1, I didn't have an idea. So there you go. Now you can set your voicemail access number to that. Maybe have a look at the call forwarding options too.

Glad to hear, just save that in contacts now, kind of annoying you can just click on voicemails.. It has always worked for me with all providers I've had (knock on wood)
