Hi, planning a travel to US. Is there a way to use Public Mobile services?

@Venu Yes, you can use it if you buy the Roaming add-on. There are different ones but they all are 10 days in length. So, if you go longer, you have to re-buy it after 10 days:

Yes, you have to buy US add-on

US Roaming for 10 day packages

Unlimited U.S. Talk, Text and 250MB Data Bundle = $20

Unlimited U.S. Talk and Text Bundle = $15

Unlimited U.S. Talk Only = $8

Unlimited U.S. Text Only = $8

U.S. Data Only for 10 day packages

250MB = $10

500MB = $15

1GB = $20

You don't need to purchase US roaming text add-on to receive incoming texts while in US.

Please note US add-on is valid for 10 days only and counter starts as soon as you purchase it. Then while in US you have to activate roaming and to connect to to AT&T or T-mobile.

How long are you going, if longer than 10 days it may be more reliable and cost effective to go with a local prepaid option or a voip app. Also if you do the PM US roaming add-ons and finish up 10 days and want the exact same add on again, you will have to reach out to a CSA to get that added on immediately otherwise you have to wait 24 hours to manually do it yourself

As suggested above, there's a few available add-ons for travel to US. One thing...once you buy the add-on, it last for 240 hours so plan your purchase ahead of time.

Best practice is to load $$ in to Available Funds before you leave home, then when you get to first town with free wifi, log in to your PM account and select the add-on you want. Walmart and McD's all have free wifi in US.

You should be good to go...you might have to manually select either AT&T ot T-Mobile...whichever works best where you're at.

Just another thing to add…if you’re using an iPhone- iMessage uses data. If you turn iMessage off you can text without needing data.
