Hi,

I just looked at my credit card bill and noticed I was charged the wrong amount. I was charged $118 instead of $105 (with my rewards).

@Philliplim the amount maybe correctly charged.

I think you are charged $105 + tax which works out to be around $118.

I think you're right.
I thought the advertised price included tax for some reason.

I know it's bit confusing. But all pm prices are before taxes.

@Philliplim I think the last page before you click on pay shows you the total including the applicable taxes (or at least it used to).

If it did not show you taxes, then the amount charged is inclusive of taxes, i.e. $118.

Lol, nothing is tax free in Canada.

When paying by Visa Debit or Credit Card (with or without AutoPay), you will be charged the cost of your plan plus applicable taxes based on the province in which you reside.

I thought the same too! Since I just ported over recently from FM so I still learning and I'm glad I read your post and reminded me of tax.
