Is the Galaxy Note20 Ultra Compatible on Public Mobile

Looking to change provides in a few months when fully paid off. I am fed up with my current provider and since other family members have had great service from Public Mobile I was thinking of changing to them. My phone is not in the compatibility list, does anyone know if it is? THANKS!!

@Lia29 Yes. It is compatible

and yours is a North American version? Make sure it is unlocked (which it should be if it is a Canadian version)

FYI, most Samsung flagship phones (S-line and Note-line) should work without issue

PM compatibility list is not very up-to-date 😞

3G or WCDMA 2 and 5 bands make the phone compatible, which is needed for phone calls, and can also be used for text messaging and data.
LTE can be used for text messaging and data.

Most providers ( koodo is an exception with their "tab" device subsidies) adhere to the WCC regulations with device subsidy contracts. There is a regulation stating that any amount of a device subsidy paid in a calendar month is considered a payment covering the entire months device subsidy.

Postpaid plans are prorated when you only use a partial months service. ie. If your plan amount is $60 and you port out on day 2 of your monthly service your bill is prorated by $60÷30 days=$2 per day. 2 days×$2=$4 this will be your prorated monthly bill. If your device subsidy is an additional $30 per month (total bill=$90) your device subsidy is also prorated. $30÷30 days=$1/day×2days=$2. You will then be sent a prorated bill of $4+$2=$6 But the prorated device subsidy of $2 by WCC regulations actually covers your entire months device subsidy of $30. Porting out to pm in the first few days of your final month of your device subsidy contract will save you some $$ depending on the size of your device subsidy. Of course reading your contract prior to porting out is prudent to ensure the provider hasn't pulled a sneaky clause without prior knowledge....which would nullify the contract if they have so it is unlikely but prudence is best.

And yes if your phone is under contract by a Canadian mobile provider then it's compatible.
