Yes, it's compatible, but for best network compatibility, I would suggest getting a Canadian model as Samsung makes models that are more ideals for use in specific regions.

Thanks for your reply! I just wanted to make sure it will work at least for the first few weeks post landing before I get a Canadian model if I feel it's not very efficient.

Yes a fairly new phone, I have actually been looking at that model and have a few co-workers on various providers (including one on PM) and it works in all cases.
