Phone Compatability?

The page which shows phone compatibility is not working. Does Public Mobile work with iPhone 8 or iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12?

@pkamin Yes, the compatibility page has been broken for some time 😞

but good news, iPhone 8, 12 mini and 12 will all work here in PM!!!

I have not heard yet of any iphone not working with Public Mobile services @pkamin ..but that is just based on what I have been reading on this forum over the years.

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

So, I guess iphones are good, for the most part, on these frequencies.

Yes, all 3 are compatible with PM.

Telus (PM parent company) offers all 3 on their website so you shouldn’t have any problems.

Just remember to turn off 5G on the iPhone 12s setting to save battery life. PM operates on 3G.

@ManonofMTL work as well. iPhone is a pretty safe choice to be use on PM network 🙂
