SIM Card Shipping Time

I placed an order online for a SIM card Monday April 3rd. The following day I received an email with the following:

Its been 5 business days and the page has not been updated. Should I be concerned?

Some packages from PM take up to 7-10 business days to come to your address. Some report up to 2 weeks.

@Wannabe_Biker - I would not be too concerned no. Sometimes it can take over 2 weeks...snail mail.

If it exceeds 10 days or 2 weeks, contact Public Mobile Representatives (CSA) by submitting a message(ticket) to them here:

It seems the window is longer and longer, pushing 3 weeks even. From here on in if you need another sim card I would probably pick any other option. In store options or even shipping. Canadian Cell Supplies is 2.99 right now and you usually get it within a week I received mine in 3 days.

HI@JL9 , you are not following the community closely. 3 weeks is PM SLA for shipping SIM (LoL). Many complained about the 3 weeks for long time. Then I think couple months ago, PM suddenly speed up the sim shipping to 1 week, then 2 week, then it is back to their 3 weeks , their SLA.. 🤣

4 or 5 years ago when I got my first one through PM it was definitely a lot quicker than it is today..either way that is way too long lol. My default is if PM ships it whatever it is, sim, replacement sim, phone, pizza....avoid it like the plague.

PM will take 3-7 days before your order is shipped out then it is up to Canada Post to take their sweet time to deliver.

As @JL9 indicated, CCS will ship the next day at $2.99 or you can pickup at their retail store if you are in the Mississauga area.

Public Mobile has multiple fullfilment centre locations that ship these out. Generally, the one closest to you will be used dependent on availability.

The SIM card was in my mail box when I got home today.

Day 9 after they received payment. Not too bad I guess.
