Yes, your registered credit card (for autopay) will take care of the purchase of add ons.

To clarify, add-on purchases will be charged to any registered credit card if you try to make purcahses of add-ons when you don't already have enough funds in your Public Mobile account balance. However, add-on aren't part of the autopay program since add-ons don't get charged for at the same time as your plan renewal and add-ons don't automatically renew.
