No, it just ends 240 hours past the point of purchase

[EDIT: thanks to @kb_mv subsequent input, YES, you will receive a SMS notification about 12 hours prior to the add-on expiring]

@HALIMACS @Proy Not entirely correct. You will receive a text about 12 hours before the add on expires warning you that it is about to expire.

@kb_mv , that I was unaware of until now, and is good to know. Do you know if that's consistent for all US Roaming add-ons? (and for that matter, other add-ons such as long-distance add-on's?)

@HALIMACS I had the talk and text plus 250MB data add on as well as the talk only add on and the 1GB data add on. I know I received a warning for the first two and I am pretty sure I did as well on the data one. Only talking about US add ons.
