If you have an iPhone, go to Settings>Messages>enable Send as SMS and enable MMS Messaging.

Also check if your Cellular Data is enabled.

Try one or more of the below:

*turn off your phone, then reboot

*removing your SIM, then reinserting it

*go into airplane mode, then going back to regular mode

*perform a reset network settings on your device

*can you try your SIM into another compatible phone to see if texting works then?

If you have an iphone and you turn your data off occasionally, then it is recommended to turn off iMessage altogether and use regular text messaging instead.

To do this, go to Settings > Messages and toggle iMessage off.

If you prefer to use iMessage, then you can perform the following steps to fix the issue:

Connect to the internet using WiFi or Data.
Go to Settings > Messages and toggle iMessage OFF.
Turn your iPhone off completely, then turn it back on.
Go back into Settings > Messages and toggle iMessage ON.
Make sure “Send as SMS” is also turned ON.

Disable any RCS messenging services which may be in place.
