PM does not currently offer roaming in the Dominican Republic. If you get the US roaming add on, it will only work in the United States.

You will need to get something like KnowRoaming. Dominican Republic is quite expensive and KnowRoaming doesn't have the 7.99 unlimited for Dominican unfortunately. You would have to pay by the mb. Depending on your needs though KnowRoaming would provide absolutely free what's app service in Dominican. This would allow you to communicate back home, call people, video chat etc.. .

Hopefully PM lowers their roaming rates and provides global service but I don't expect it since they are still claiming to provide no frills service but they shouldn't be at the current pricing structure.

Congratulations on tbe nuptuals.

You can get a fongo.com number and before you leave you can corward your number to that. That way wjile on wifi you can get make calls and you will be able to see tbe missed calls.

The extra step if you want smses is to inatall a sms forwardig app in an old phone and leave sim in canada and phone plugged in. You can forward smses to email or to fongo.
