it should be the date where you have to renew your service. You should be able to check it under my account and look at when you pay.

Is there a place to view one's exact start date, ie the date used for the loyalty bonus increases? not seeing it anywhere in my self serve

it should be the date that you activated your service. If you received an email from public mobile for the activation, I would use that one.

Edit: If you know what month you signed up, i would also go to transaction history, and do the transaction history from the first of that month, to the last day of the month so you can find the exact date

@user82 you can check your first bill date by searching your past credit card transactions either in your online credit card site or an online tool like Mint. The first bill date may not be the exact date used for loyalty bonuses but will approximate it for you.
