Had Rogers unlock my phone yesterday. Apple Iphone 5.

- wiped my phone, restarted. restored. - following the unlocked procedure from Apple.

- - got a text at one point saying the phone was unlocked.from Rogers

- signed up for PM.

- tried to put in new SIM, phone still says SIM not supported.

- my plan with Rogers is done and I can't use my old SIM because there no service so I can't wipe my phone again. because I can't receive text messages for authentication.

itunes says SIM not supported also/

any help on this would be great! it's been 24 hours. since I first started all this.,

I would not contact Public Mobile moderators about this.

If iTunes is telling you that your sim card is not supported, that means that your phone is not unlocked. Although you received a text message from Rogers that your phone has been unlocked, the iTunes server is what counts. If iTunes doesn't actually tell you that your phone is unlocked (especially after you've done a factory reset) when you connect it by cable to your computer, it is still locked to Rogers. The wording used inside iTunes is pretty clear and is similar to "Your phone is now unlocked".
