      <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently obtained an iPhone 6s.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Under settings&amp;gt;General&amp;gt;carrier is ‘PublicMobile 49.0’&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;amp; under Carrier Lock is ‘SIM locked’&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The phone has no restrictions under an IMEI CHECK.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The phone works normally with PM SIM card installed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to have phone unlocked for international travel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please advise action steps.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Make sure under Settings&amp;gt;Cellular &amp;gt;Network Selection&amp;gt;enable Automatic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also to power off the phone when you swap the SIM card.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/218380"&gt;@warmand&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Where did you get the phone originally? like which carrier was it from?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if you want to be certain the phone is unlocked, try to get another SIM from a friend.&amp;nbsp; Any SIM will do except&amp;nbsp; PM/Telus/Koodo.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Once inserted with another SIM, if it does not come up with an error asking for a Network unlock PIN, then it is good, the phone is unlocked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In case you did get the message for unlock code, then you can open a ticket with PM.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
