Sometimes Canadian Cell Supplies offers 3rd month free credits for the $15 plan and the $25 plan can also get that credit or additionally can qualify for a 5gb bonus add on that will remain on the account once you downgrade on your 1st renewal to the $15 plan. The third month credit is based on the plan you activate on so you will get a credit of $25 despite downgrading to the $15.

Even if you don't get a promo when you contact CCS to activate your sim card by choosing an activation bundle you recieve a free sim card and 20% off your first 2 months of service.

Choose and pay for a $25 plan activation bundle. It typically ships for free via Canada Post in 5 business days. Once you recieve the SIM card hopefully there is one of the above promos being offered ( or wait for a promo....usually offered once a month) then contact CCS to activate you.

Savings:

2 months×$25 plan=$50 - $10 (20% discount)=$40+tax (gst only if outside of ontario) You will have a $25 credit on your account after paying for the first month of the $25 plan. Schedule a change plan in next renewal to the $15 plan. Your transaction history will look like this:

$50 - $25=$25+$10 (bonus referral credit)=$35 - $15(1st renewal)=$20 - $15 (2nd renewal)=$5 (you may want to use this $5 For the $5/500min add on to supplement your plan minutes as it does not expire and is a one time only purchase rolling over every 30 days til completely consumed.)

Purchasing a $10 sim card and 2 months of regular service will cost $10+$30 (2×$15 plan)=$40 - $10 bonus referral credit=$30 (net).

Ordering from CCS will cost $40 - $10 (bonus referral credit)=$30 (net) but you get the first month to use the unlimited calling of the $25 plan and a whole 1gb of data ( once you register for autopay) until your scheduled plan change occurs and the $5 credit to use for renewal or to purchase the $5/500min add on. Plus the possibility of getting a free third month credit of $25 or a 5gb data add on (value=$75) when you are ready for CCS to activate your sim card. For the same price as you would pay to activate yourself online.

The only promo you currently have is 2GB/12 months for $25+ plan. Read small prints in case there is a catch...
