I have searched the web with no clear answers. I would like to know if Infinix Zero 8 would be supported on public mobile network.

here are phone specs: https://www.gsmarena.com/infinix_zero_8-10401.php

I also tried willmyphonework.net but the Zero 8 model is not listed there.

Any ideas?

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz (band 5), 1900 MHz (band 2) and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).

HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

Always good to check whether a phone will work with any provider, especially Public Mobile. Use more than one source to be sure.

https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/CA

https://willmyphonework.net

3G or WCDMA 2 (1900 MHz ) and 5 (850 MHz) bands makes the phone compatible, which is needed for phone calls, and can also be used for text messaging and data.

LTE can be used for text messaging and data.

https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/CA/infinix-zero-8

I don't know folks. The very same link provided by the OP seems to suggest it's rather light in the 3G bands.

The manufacturer specs agree. I'd keep looking.

Edit: again with the refreshing and some posts are not there. And then they are.

I long ago lost "faith" in kimovil as a reference. gsmarena is excellent but not 100% clear on variants. The manufacturer wins - though still can be not 100% clear with variants.
