    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/217033"&gt;@Kb45&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As long as you replied to the SMS text from your previous carrier within the 90 minute window.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Few ways to know if porting was competed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On your phone, it should show Public or your old SIM doesn’t work.&lt;BR /&gt;Make calls and send text to see if it works.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If not, try powering off the phone then wait a few minutes then power the phone back on.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Completed 4 steps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Got message from previous service provider (SP) advising that a transfer request was received, but to contact them only if request was in error.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Of course, did not contact them.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thank you&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/217033"&gt;@Kb45&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just keep using your old carrier's SIM card. &amp;nbsp;Once the SIM card stops working, then your port is likely complete. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Usually takes 1-2 hours for most mobile &amp;nbsp;carrier ports. &amp;nbsp;Usually Koodo and Telus is quite quick with the ports since same group of companies. Landlines can take several days. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you have your previous provider's sim in your phone and it no longer works then the port should be completed.&amp;nbsp; Put your PMM sim and it should be working.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just like everyone said to wait. My experience with Freedom that I had to reply to the message sent to old SIM card which I did not reply at first but able to use almost everything on PM but receiving calls.&amp;nbsp; Then I redo the steps from PM message and reply to message sent to old SIM(in my case Freedom), then everything works RIGHT AWAY !!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Happy customer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheers,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Phil&lt;/P&gt;</description>
