But Christmas coming , we are hoping PM will continue the "tradition" from last 2 years for giving up free Add-ons

Promotions and promo codes are for new activations only usually. Around Christmas time PM has been known to give out data and LD minutes as gifts to its existing customers

Do you mean promo or referral code? A referral code will give you $10 off if you are setting up a new account. And some will give you a free SIM card too.

And out out of curiosity what is old?

It's been a long time since PM offered any promo code or good promotional plan for existing customers ever since they started offering low key promotions like $10 off for 6 months or bonus data for activating. Their phone plans stay the same so no benefit for existing customers. Look out for holiday add-ons and other contest giveaways in the coming months.
