    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, they are.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A thing to note for the future, is that your mobile carrier must unlock your phone if you request it, free of charge. This was passed by the CRTC in December of 2017. It is illegal for carriers to lock phone since December 31, 2017.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
