Yes, this phone will work. Ensure it is unlocked unless you are already a Telus/Koodo customer.

@RFindlay As far as I know there is no such thing as iPhone 5 SE. Having said that any Canadian sold unlocked iPhone from iPhone 3G to iPhones in 2021 will work with Public Mobile for Talk, Text & Data. Some older phones before iPhone 5 may have MMS issues but for Talk, Text & Data you will be Fine.

The name is iPhone SE. But is in the family of iPhone 5, 5S then SE. All the same size.
