Hello,

When I use the Public Mobile website to monitor my data usage and occasionally purchase add ons, is this contributing to my data allowance?

What about when I read posts from the community and look at deals?

Also, if I give my laptop a hotspot, does Public Mobile "know" that I'm browsing their site?

@looalexanderp : If you're not on wifi and doing anything other than MMS on the internet then you will consume your cell data however which way it's being consumed.

@looalexanderp you have to be really careful when setting the Hotspot and let you laptop connects. your laptop could be using it to download hugh OS updates or security patches if not setup properly.

I usually avoid doing it.. if you really need to , make sure on your laptop, set your Hotspot connection as metered network
