Just switched and problem with texting

Hi all, Everything went smooth switching over from Lucky mobile but I cannot send or receive texts although sending a photo went through fine. iphone 12 mini I rebooted phone and turned off and on imessage (i was trying to text to android phone and have send as sms on) but still not working. Help!

@Scottm4211 Has the number transfer completed? Have you replied YES to the text message to port your number? Let us know. Sometimes it may take time for texts to transfer. If it doesn't work. I would recommend contacting a CSA.

The port is complete and I replied YES from Lucky Mobile everything other than text works. I'm PM'ing with agent now.

@Scottm4211 so MMS to Android works but just not SMS to Android? (or not even MMS to Android??)

let us know how it ends. This is an interesting problem and would like to know how to fix it.

Hi, I was able to send picture message to android but cant sent or receive text to it. Don't have another iphone contact so don't know. I'll update when fixed.

Did you check to setting to see if iMessage, Send as SMS and MMS Messaging is enabled?

Go to Settings>Messages then check the 3 settings.

Sunday morning update: Apparently I entered the imei wrong so the port hasn’t completed. I sent the agent my old account number late last night I’m hoping they work today and correct my mistake.
