      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/198334"&gt;@PAH&lt;/a&gt; : iPhone iMessages uses the old instant messaging method rather than standard SMS texting which uses an internet connection. You need to set it to also use SMS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Android has some texting apps that use a chat feature that uses the internet too. Turn that option off if you like.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/198334"&gt;@PAH&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Look like you are using iMessage or RCS, which needs Data in both cases&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="softech_0-1626572814233.png" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/51860iF9759E57BE1D50D0/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="Chat-SMS.png" alt="Chat-SMS.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You might want to change it to regular SMS:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;On Android (RCS)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(The chat bubbles are dark blue when Chat enabled or light blue when SMS/TXT are used)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On the Messaging app,&lt;BR /&gt;tap 3 little dots top right, click Settings&lt;BR /&gt;under Chat settings, scroll to "Select default messaging type",&lt;BR /&gt;Switch from Automatic to Text/multimedia msg&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;On Apple&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(Blue ones are sent using Apple's iMessage while Green are SMS)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;change the iMessage settings by&lt;BR /&gt;Click on Settings app,&lt;BR /&gt;click Messages,&lt;BR /&gt;Turn iMessage off (switch from green to grey)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for the tip.&amp;nbsp; My son is having the same issue with his phone, but when we deselect iMessage, he is unable to send/receive texts from other iPhones, even when connected to wifi.&amp;nbsp; He only had 250 MB of data, but he has already used it all texting because we didn't realize that sending iMessages used data.&amp;nbsp; We just assumed that texting was unlimited.&amp;nbsp; Any suggestions on how to set his phone up so that he is able to text other iPhones and in the future does get unlimited texting, without using data?&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
