      <title>Switching numbers with another from another provider</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm looking to swap with my wife who is with Freedom Mobile. Essentially, I want to have my number onto her Freedom account, and her number on my Public account. I don't want to switch or cancel as much as possible as we are happy with the plans we have now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can I work with the two providers to make this happen?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Reason for anyone curious is because she gets no service in a place she frequently goes to, where I do. My phone that's on Public is a backup phone while I my main phone is a work phone that also has good coverage there. So it won't matter if my backup phone has no service in that area.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Unless your number originally came from freedom. Then you ask freedom to hold your number once it's released back to them by porting your wife's number into your pm account. You could ask freedom ahead of time if they could then assign the number to your wife's freedom account if they are willing to leave the account open after her number is ported out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
