    <description>&lt;P&gt;I tried shutting the phone off and on, pulling the SIM card tray out and putting back in several times. my software on my phone is completely up to date. I don't have access to another phone to try the SIM card in there. What should I try next?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Are you a new customer activating or are you a current customer and your phone is not working. If the latter have you logged into self service to see the account status? Is it Active?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What kind of phone. It is possible...in some phones.....to insert the SIM improperly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Especially if your SIM card is behind a replaceable battery.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
