@KMuck6647 there would be no way to charge your Public Mobile account for the call, as all is prepaid here.

@KMuck6647 : I used the ol' search bar typing - collect calls prison - and found some workarounds. But no, with no after the fact billing here, this place doesn't do collect calls. But check the workarounds.

You're assuming the inmates have access to wifi while in "the Big House" huh.

I don't know if it's legal. I just found some workarounds. I doubt one can have a mobile phone inside. I would think they have land line type wall phones where they can only dial out local calls or collect. No inbound. I'm thinking the workarounds are prepaid forwarder/relayers but I'm not sure.

Other services offer collect calls inbound. This place does not.

Inmates can make collect calls or add funds to their inmate acccount or have someone from the "outside" add funds to their account to make non collect calls.. Call rates are approximately $1/min. Mobile phones are strictly forbidden and any inmate caught with one in their possession will have a year added to their sentence.

I used to have a toll-free number added to my home landline account for my kids to call home from pay phone without any coins. Since they all have cellphone now, there is no need to have the toll-free number any more.

Get a toll-free number from ringcentral.ca and forward all the incoming calls to your PM number.
