@brentmcgrath11 : Do you still see at least the $15 in your Available Funds? If so then you need to go back and actually buy the add-on. It's a non-intuitive two steps. If not then try flipping in/out of airplane mode and test.

Purchasing an add-on is a two step process. You need to add it then purchase it.

To purchase Add-Ons using your Self-Serve account, follow these steps:

Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
- You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
- If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
Select ‘Confirm my purchase’, and you’re off to the races!

If it still not working, and you see the fund is deducted and the add on not showing up under the usage information when you login to your account, try contacting a moderator.

Hi @brentmcgrath11

Look here (below) on your self-serve landing page to see if the purchased add-on was 'added' to your assortment of Data & Add-Ons. If it's there, there is no reason it shouldn't work if your data was otherwise working before you ran out of plan data:

As @Anonymous provides, did toggling off airplane mode help?

You may also wish to try a phone reboot, or removing SIM card, waiting a minute, then reinserting the SIM card.

Let us know what did (or didn't) work.

Lots of great info here to ensure you actually purchased the Data Add-On, taking from the current balance in your account. The data should start working almost right away once it's been confirmed on your account.

To clarify - when you log in, you should see that 1GB of data package added under "My Data & Add-Ons." Once it's there, you'll know it's active and can monitor how much of it is used.

Can you let us know if you've successfully added it or if there's some other issue still?
